USB powered VGA to HDMI converter
Here’s what appears to be an easy way to hook your VGA-only notebook or netbook up to your fancy HDTV’s HDMI port. The Atlona VGA to HDMI Scaler/Converter is powered via USB and features a built-in image scaler to ensure that the picture on your TV looks the way it should regardless of what resolution your computer monitor’s set at.
There’s a six-foot HDMI cable included and the audio, USB, and VGA cables are all attached to the converter box. Accepted input resolutions range from 640×480 to 1920×1200 while output resolutions range from 480p to 1080p and higher (maximum of 1920×1200).
It’s up for preorder at $119, with an ETA of February 22nd.
